DOG WALKER CAMBERWELL

For many urban dogs in Camberwell lack of movement and exercise can prohibit greater well-being. Being under-exercised due to a lack of dog walking can compound or create a host of health and behavioural problems.

Dog walker Barking Betty aim to provide physical activities to help your dog build a fitter, stronger and healthier body and promote mental and physical relaxation, all while ensuring that your dog has fun and enjoys its walks.

DOG WALKING IN PARKS AND THE COUNTRYSIDE

With this in mind, we programme long dog walks that are varied and stimulating. We like to change our parks and various countryside locations regularly so that your dog can walk, run and play to his or her heart’s content.

Dog walker services

  • We walk your dog in small groups of four and aim to ensure that their characters are compatible with one another.
  • Only when our dog walker considers that your dog obeys her commands of recall will she let it off the lead.
  • We provide all our dogs with our own tags and distinctive leads so that they can be easily identified.

PRICES: From £15 for a one hour walk or £20 for two hours.

Barking Betty recently moved from our long established home in Battersea to provide dog walking in Camberwell as well as dog grooming, dog boarding and dog day care.

Camberwell in the South London borough of Southwark is a vibrant Victorian neighbourhood, home to the campus of the University of the Arts London, which is fitting with our pop-art themed website. As well an electric mix of food outlets and now being home to the famous Barking Betty) Camberwell has a fine selection of parks such as Riversdale Park, Willison Park and Cooper Reserve.

The higher ground was a strategic roman encampment. Camberwell is mentioned in the Domesday Book as being owned by Ham, half-brother to William the Conqueror. In addition to featuring a church, it was a farming village surrounded by woods and fields. At the time, though not renowned for having an excellent dog walking and dog grooming business it did boast land for ploughing and corn, 63 acres for cows, and woods that fed 60 pigs!
