When you leave your dog with us, it becomes part of our family. Your pooch will socialise with many different dogs and make lots friends. We provide a safe and comfortable dog day care environment where the dogs are free to play, wander around or relax on beds, cushions or chairs. We do not cage our guests.

You can either drop your dog in our shop or we can pick him up from your home in the morning and deliver it back to you after 4pm.

During the day, we will walk your dog once in the morning and in the afternoon for a total of around three or four hours. We can also feed your dog if you require.

Barking Betty recently moved from our long established home in Battersea to provide dog day care in Camberwell as well as dog walking, dog boarding and dog grooming.

Camberwell in the South London borough of Southwark is a vibrant Victorian neighbourhood, home to the campus of the University of the Arts London, which is fitting with our pop-art themed website. As well an electric mix of food outlets and now being home to the famous Barking Betty) Camberwell has a fine selection of parks such as Riversdale Park, Willison Park and Cooper Reserve.

The higher ground was a strategic roman encampment. Camberwell is mentioned in the Domesday Book as being owned by Ham, half-brother to William the Conqueror. In addition to featuring a church, it was a farming village surrounded by woods and fields. At the time, though not renowned for having an excellent dog walking and dog grooming business it did boast land for ploughing and corn, 63 acres for cows, and woods that fed 60 pigs!
